Recommended to feed

Central and South American Cichlids: Discus, Angels, Oscars, Jack Dempseys and others.

Carnivorous African Cichlids: Lelupis, Compressiceps, Frontosas and others.

Feed often, but only what can be consumed in three minutes. Remove any uneaten food. Never overfeed. No thawing or rinsing required. Keep frozen.

Microwaving or thawing in hot water is not recommended, as this breaks down the nutrients contained in frozen fish food.

Contains Turkey heart! Compared to beef hearts, turkey hearts contain substantially higher levels of omega-6 and omega-9 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA’s). Warm-water fish can metabolize the omega-3 PUFA’s they require from these omega-6 and omega-9 PUFA’s. Turkey heart is also a source of the carotenoid pigments beta-carotene & lycopene, with Spirulina algae further increasing the amount of natural pigments to help bring out vivid colors in your cichlids.
